Learn

We offer two types of classes for makers of all skill levels: project-based classes and skill-based classes.

What’s the difference?

Project based classes are designed for you to not only learn new skills, but to leave class with a completed quilted item, such as a quilt, zippered pouch, or pillow cover.

Skill-based classes focus on a specific element of quilting, like mastering cutting, where we will share all the best tips and lessons learned to improve your quilting skillset. You may not be working on project in class, but you will leave class more confident and skilled than ever before!

We are continuously adding more patterns and classes – thank you for your patience as we build our resource library and class offerings for you!

We currently teach in person classes at Needles Studio in Los Altos, CA, where you can shop for fabric and supplies and take group classes and shop with other sewists and makers in the Bay Area! To sign up for classes, please visit needlesstudio.com.

If you are interested in private instruction, please reach out to us directly.
